Milly Unisex Hair Salon Reviews

DO NOT RECOMMEND if you have natural/coily/curly/kinky hair. I visited the salon for the first time back in October 2025 for a wash, set, blow dry with flat iron. Service was quick and my hair looked okay. However, this is the end of FEBRUARY 2026 and my hair is still not the same. My hair looks as if it was either permed or had some other type of chemical straightening product applied. I have been to other hair salons in the past for this same service and my hair has NEVER looked like this after wetting it. When I wash my hair, it is STRAIGHT. I have not had a perm in over 15 years. Please see the attached pics. So disappointed!!! I went here as it was recommended and the salon was open on Sundays but I regret even going.

This evil salon cut my hair off. She chopped my hair off when I said yes to a trim she offered after the blowout. She went behind my back and chopped my entire back in one swoop and held my hair in a ponytail as she did it. Pretended she only had a little bit of hair. Chopped my entire head off in 3 cuts. I had to stop her for cutting my front hair to below my ear. Wish I could sue. I am traumatized. This felt like assault. My hair … ( I include my hair 4 years ago. It was longer than that. I am seriously grieving my hair.) Not even cut evenly. This is extremely malicious. Beautiful dark skin girls with long hair. You have been warned!

This is the worst heat damage I have had IN MY LIFE. I went to Milexi's hair salon for a birthday blow out. For context I haven't put a blow dryer to my 4c curly hair in well over a year. I have had my hair in mini twists all that time. I washed my hair and went in first thing on on that Sunday. Not only was she extremely rough with my hair, running a fine tooth comb through it instead of a detangling comb, which resulted in clumps of hair getting ripped out of my head. After a wash my curls have not returned. I repeat: MY HAIR IS STILL STRAIGHT. I have never been so heartbroken. I'm contemplating cutting all of my hair off.

My first time ever getting a blowout and a trim. They did an amazing job. Hair lasted a little over a week. Absolutely loved it!!! Paid $60 in total.

Growing up, I went to this place for years, and there was no issue as my mother took me, Two weeks ago, I went to the salon to get a blowout(I have not gone in around 5-6 years as I’ve converted to natural hair) And they snuck chemicals in my hair without my permission, My scalp burns to this day, And my hair is destroyed, It smells horrible, and all of my natural curls are gone, It is brittle and dead, And I am stuck with a possible chemical burn, Not only that I did not like the way the stylist Treated my hair she was very rough and ripping my hair when she combed it, She kept combing my curly hair from the root, ripping my hair out. My hair is Now extremely damaged and I am devastated
